Clock In/Out Report

[Available only if you select a restaurant]

The Clock In/Out report shows when each employee clocked in or out. For one week in a restaurant, the scheduled hours are compared against each employee’s actual hours. The differences are color-coded for each identification of potential issues:

  • Red text indicates a deviation of more than a specified number of minutes.

  • Orange text indicates a deviation of less than the specified minutes.

  • Green text indicates that the clock-in and clock-out match.

For the most accurate report, schedule breaks for employees, then require them to clock out for the break and clock back in when they return to work.

  1. From the LiveIQ toolbar, click Labor.

  2. Select Reports > Extract/Printed.

  3. Select the organization, restaurant, and date for the report.

  4. Click Clock In/Out Report.

  5. To change the number of specified minutes for red or green text, slide the Set Color Threshold to your restaurant's limit.

  6. To accommodate allowances for opening or closing the restaurant, select Allow Open/Close Allowance.

    Allowances are set when you define restaurant-level rules. Refer to Define Restaurant Opening and Closing Times for instructions.

  7. Select Show breaks? to display actual break times.
